Should I Call A Vet After I Give ECR?
Always keep your vet abreast of the horse's circumstances. After you administer ECR and hear bilateral abdominal bowel activity returning within 10-30 minutes, this a definite sign ECR is working to end the bout! The adjoining trapped, crushed, or swollen organs are freed and bowel activity returns in this period of time. It is at the 4th and final process that gas and softened feces pass within an average testing time of 45-90 minutes and, if feces are mixed with sand they pass within an average of 90-200 minutes. There are NO side effects and the equine returns to its life as if the bout had never occurred -- healthy, drug free and ready to train, ride, breed, show, or race.
Equine Colic Relief is Not A Miracle
Nor Can It Move Mountains! ECR Cannot Help all Colic Victims!
ECR is made from Ingredients found in God's medicine cabinet, dveloped using natural science. Because ECR is so effective, many clients seem to think of it as a miracle cure, but there are some instances in which it cannot help. ECR cannot help horses whose bowels are twisted, knotted, ruptured, blocked by objects, excessive sand, gravel, stones or tumors, or are experiencing heavy spasms or are infected. Nor can ECR always help an equine who remains symtomatic 1-2 days after a vet diagnosed and treated them conventionally for an impaction! The above are considered by Merks veterinary manual to be abnormal colic conditions, requiring IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION by a vet or surgeon.
What Do I Use To Safely Administer ECR:

"Equine" as used herein defines an adult horse, donkey, mule, zebra, and their foals".
Equines under 200 lbs. require 1 full syringe dose of a 60cc oral syringe which accompanies each 4oz bottle,
or 1/2 of a 4oz bottle of ECR.
Equines over 200 lbs require 1 full 4oz. bottle
Equines under (foal or mini) 200 lbs require 1/2 of a 4oz. bottle

Before Administering a dose, Always Keep Your Horse’s Head In The Upright Position and,Shake the Bottle Well ! To give a dose fill the syringe half full by carefully pouring ECR into it, then replace the plunger and gently force the liquid to the top. (You may want to practice with a glass of water to get the hang of it). Then place your finger on the tip, give it a gentle shake, position it at the far side of the mouth, place it on the back of the tongue and push down on the plunger, till it’s empty. Repeat till the required dose is given. Unlike wormers, horses actually love the taste!

My husband bought your product a few months ago, but I was hoping that I would never be in a position to have to use it. Last week, I left my Thoroughbred gelding alone for an hour in his paddock, and returned to find him lying flat in the paddock covered in sweat and breathing heavily. He stood up when I called to him, but continued to paw like he wanted to lie down again so I called the vet, but she was at least an hour away! He didn't object to the taste and within a few minutes, he appeared more comfortable and by the time the vet arrived, he was strolling around the paddock and grazing comfortably. We have a 30 year sorrel gelding named Sam. One night about 3 weeks ago we had just fed him and he was laying down and not eating. We got him up and started walking him around.
